During our Easter stay, we had an amazing experience. the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the location was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. we loved the variety of activities available, such as hiking and kayaking, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The rooms at the hotel were a bit plain and lacked personality. However, they were still clean and provided all the necessary amenities.

Beautiful location with stunning gardens and landscapes. Warm welcome from the hosts with hot tea and coffee and homemade cookies. - Lots of activities for everyone, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. - Clean and tidy facilities with modern equipment provided. - Delicious homemade baking and reasonably priced pizzas. - Mussel night was a treat. - the hosts are friendly and great cooks.
Wifi was quite expensive, with only a limited amount of data provided for free. Being situated at the end of the road means it's far from town.

The decoration at the lodge was absolutely delightful, showcasing a charming mix of rustic and modern elements. The cozy sitting areas were tastefully adorned with plush pillows and warm wooden accents, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated how the lodge's layout provided easy accessibility – the hallways were spacious and well-lit, making it convenient for me to navigate around the property.
The only thing I would have asked for was a larger team of staff to cater specifically to the needs of senior guests. Sometimes, the wait for assistance could be a little longer than anticipated.

the layout of the property offered the perfect blend of seclusion and socializing, allowing me to relax on my own private balcony or join others in the main areas. the cottage I stayed in was absolutely fantastic, equipped with its own amenities and offering stunning views. I also appreciated the abundance of activities available, from kayaking to simply lounging by the well-maintained outdoor areas. And let's not forget the added bonus of a spa overlooking the water. It truly felt like a retreat where I could unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. Cons: Nothing is perfect, but it's hard to find any faults during my stay at this wonderful lodge. 😊.
